The Courbevoie housing complex is a combination of two buildings: one is boarding the main road and acts as a wall for the inside of the site area; the second one is perpendicular to the first and is more opened and ‘denticulate’ with large balconies facing south-west. The ground level on the main street is occupied by a commercial area and workshop, whilst the inside ground level hosts a city cultural center. Apartments are organised within distinctive spaces with ‘night and day’ and each has the benefit of two orientations. Most of the apartments have balconies or planted terraces. The site around the building is ‘car free’, except for the rescue service area, and is landscaped as a collective garden with Bich trees.
