Located in the heart of the second largest city in Laos, Savannakhet, the design of this new shopping mall adopts the Laotian identity with the pitched roofs, while combining it with modern elements such as glass curtain walls.
The east-west orientation of the façade requires protection from the sun, so louvres are in place to keep the inside cool. The roof of the atrium rotates in order to bring light to the function room on the conference center level, which also creates a spectacular effect on the top floor.
