When designing the Ford Foundation Office in Hanoi, Archetype Group followed the clients’ desire for an open office with as much transparency as possible, by using glass partitioning which provides the intended transparency while respecting the privacy of all offices. In keeping with the Ford Foundation’s philosophy of incorporating as much local content as possible Archetype Group maximised the use of local material including bamboo curtains and timber.
