Grand Hotel (Renovation & Extension)

The Grand Hotel includes the addition of a 20-storey building to the existing hotel, together with the complete renovation of a previous 13-storey extension built in the 1980s. The project also includes partial renovation of the original wing of the Grand Hotel built in 1928. The facilities comprise of a 500-seat conference room, 300-seat restaurant, business center, spa and fitness center, rooftop café, and restaurant. In order to compensate the narrowness of the available site and to provide sufficient space, the new extension merges with the previous extension. The total capacity of the Grand Hotel will be increased to 233 bedrooms and suites. Externally, the lower levels of the extension duplicate the architectural features of the old wing, while the upper levels incorporate and improve the existing facades of the previous extension.
