Mohammed Bin Zayed Building

The Mohammed Bin Zayed Building comprises 3 towers of 1-3 bedroom apartments.

The design concept of the building incorporates 2 intrinsic elements in Islamic architecture: the Moucharabieh, which allow control and filtered light through geometric shapes and the internal courtyard that allows natural light and fresh breezes into the public area.

To increase cooling and natural ventilation within the building, a vertical shaft channels cooled air up to the common areas. Ground floor and landscaped intermediate storeys combine water surfaces to cool hot, ambient air.
