Archetype Cambodia was appointed the architects of several projects for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Uniquely the Cambodian church buildings are allowed to reflect the Cambodian building traditions. Among these projects, the Phnom Penh 1, 3, 5 Church (on the right side) has eleven classrooms as well as administrative and religious rooms, the cultural hall and the baptismal font. The church has capacity to seat more than 800 people. Another project was the Phnom Penh University (see below) situated on a previous military site, therefore great concern was put on clearing unforeseen underground items before the back fill and retaining wall construction.
