Archetype Group works on Henkel project in South Korea
Henkel, the leading German chemical and consumer goods manufacturer, is investing to build a new plant in South Korea to reinforce their adhesive technology and electronic materials business. Located in Incheon Free Economic Zone, this new production facility is said to be Henkel's largest capital expenditure in South Korea since their first landed in the country in 1989.
This confirmation has been done after Archetype Group completed the basic design and financial cost for this greenfield plant, which follows sustainable standards for LEED certification. The facility is scheduled for operation in 2022, which is expected to establish a global production hub for Henkel’s adhesive technology business and expand their presence in the electronic materials industry.
This is Archetype’s first project in South Korea, after a number of cooperation with Henkel for their projects in China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
