Archetype Thailand has been working on the new greenfield manufacturing facility of the DMT (Ducati Motor Thailand) and DPT (Ducati Powertrain Thailand) in Rayong, a city in the east of Thailand.
The manufacturing factory with a gross floor area of 29,363 m2 and site area of 9.6298 ha is set to be completed in December 2023. Archetype Thailand oversees the project’s concept design, C&S engineering, M&E engineering, architecture, project management, construction management, and green consultancy service.
The factory’s main operations are divided into 3 main areas:
- Engine manufacturing
- Vehicles manufacturing
- Warehouse (serving both of the previous ones considering parts forwarding to assembly lines and finished goods stock as well)
In addition, the ground level of the building is directly connected with manufacturing areas. An external building will be a dedicated canteen. The project also includes a visitor building, also an external dedicated unit, which includes the guard house and custom house. There will also be a water treatment building and scrap area.
On top of that, Archetype Group ensures sustainability is the central priority of the project and focuses on LEED certification.
