Archetype Group Strengthens its leadership team with the appointment of Alexandre Fricheteau as acting Group CFO

Alexandre Fricheteau has been promoted to acting Chief Financial Officer for Archetype Group, reporting to Chief Executive Officer Pierre-Jean Malgouyres.

Since joining Archetype Group, Alexandre has played a key role in strengthening our global finance function by overseeing timely and accurate financial reporting across over 20 countries.

In his new role, he will drive financial excellence across the group, strengthening its financial performance and digitalization as it continues to grow internationally.

With dual master’s degrees from EDHEC Business School and Paris-Saclay University, Alexandre Fricheteau combines a strong foundation in finance, management and business intelligence with extensive experience in finance transformation and digital innovation. Throughout his career, he has helped international organizations modernize finance functions and transform complex data into strategic business insights.

Archetype Indonesia to deliver a new beachfront development: have a look at the Noema Resort & Beach Club on Gili Trawangan island!

Located in West Nusa Tenggara, in Central Indonesia, this destination is renowned for its crystal-clear waters, white-sand beaches, diving spots and laid-back lifestyle, and has become one of the country’s exceptional tropical escapes.

The resort developed by JHL Group will span around 12,000 sqm of gross floor area and comprises 50 glamping units across three accommodation types. Under the management of JHL Collection, this unique retreat will feature a beach club, diving center, sauna, spa, steam room, swimming pool and sustainable initiatives.

Archetype Indonesia is providing project management services for this new hospitality project.

This additional resort further strengthens our hospitality experience, built on our successful projects with the main international hospitality operators.

Inspired by the quiet rhythms of the Maldives, this hospitality concept draws its architectural language from water, sand, coral, and local craftsmanship.

Organic forms, tactile materials, and references to Maldivian vernacular architecture are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, shaping a spatial journey rooted in connection, serenity, and immersion. Each curve frames a new perspective, while every texture deepens the relationship between the architecture and its natural setting.

Rather than standing apart from the island, the design becomes part of its rhythm, expressing luxury through light, movement, and a genuine sense of place.

5-Star Resort Development in Bali Reaches New Milestone

Another milestone for Archetype Indonesia on a 5-star resort development in Ubud, Bali.

Recently, together with the Client and Operator, our team conducted the Mock-Up Room review, marking an important step toward bringing this hospitality destination to life.

As Sebastien Thierry, Project Director at Archetype Indonesia, shared after the review:

“We are delighted with the positive feedback received. The mock-up rooms successfully demonstrate the quality standards, design intent, and guest experience envisioned for the project.”

Nestled within a natural riverside setting, the resort features 43 exclusive villas designed to immerse guests in Bali’s landscape while respecting the surrounding environment.

Providing Project Management, Design Management & Coordination, and Construction Management services, Archetype Indonesia works closely with all project stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered in line with its design vision, quality standards, and construction objectives.

Celebrating 15 Years of Archetype Mongolia

Every summer, the Naadam festival brings Mongolia together: a celebration of heritage, resilience, and connecting communities across generations. It’s a reminder that the strongest traditions are built on people, on culture, and on bonding people.

That same spirit carried through last month, as Archetype Mongolia marked its 15th anniversary at the Residence of the French Embassy in Ulaanbaatar.

That evening was a tribute to the relationships that got us here: our clients, partners, and colleagues who have stood alongside us since our first project in Ulaanbaatar back in 2011.

Hosted by Tsolmon Bat-Erdene, Managing Director of Archetype Mongolia, in presence of Madame Corinne Pereira Da Silva, Ambassador of France to Mongolia, alongside Pierre-Jean Malgouyres, CEO & Co-founder of Archetype Group, this ceremony was market by the vibrant energy of traditional Mongolian performances

This past week, Pierre-Jean Malgouyres, our Co-founder & CEO, participated in two major French business forums dedicated to international growth.

✔️ On June 29th the Southeast Asia Forum, organized by Les Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur (CCE): Southeast Asia is becoming one of the most exciting growth stories for French businesses abroad, and that’s exactly what we dug into at this year’s Forum.

Cambodia. Indonesia. Malaysia. Singapore. Thailand. Vietnam. Six markets, one shared momentum.

Pierre-Jean Malgouryes, an appointed Foreign Trade Advisor (CCE), took the stage alongside other stakeholders to talk straight about where the real opportunities are, and how French companies can seize them.

✔️ A few days later, Pierre-Jean joined the Université d’Été de l’Internationalisation des Entreprises (UEIE), the leading annual event in France dedicated to international trade.

What actually makes a company win internationally? That was the question on the table this year, with Nicolas Forissier, French Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and Attractiveness, joining as guest of honour.

Pierre-Jean took part in the workshop “How can French ecosystems abroad reach their full potential?” alongside Olivier Cadic, Senator for French nationals abroad, in a session moderated by Pedro Novo, CEO of Axian Properties.
