Michel Cassagnes, Architect & Managing Director of Archetype Cambodia, Laos & Vietnam, has more than 20 years of work experience in Portugal, France, Australia, China, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. He has practiced architecture and urban design while leading multidisciplinary design teams. Michel has worked on a wide range of projects, including shopping centers, hotels & resorts, and residential & commercial buildings. Notably, his design team won the BCI 2015 Green Leadership award for the Laurelton Diamonds Project in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Michel is actively involved in the construction industry in Cambodia through various Eurocham committees and has a specific focus on green buildings. He is the Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) representative for Cambodia and has organized several successful tall building and construction forums in Phnom Penh. Michel has also been a judge for the Cambodia Property Guru awards since its inception.
