Arcadia at Lavila: Bringing French Art de Vivre to South Saigon
In the heart of South Saigon, Arcadia at Lavila is a residential development on a site of over 10 hectares. It has two 36-storey towers on a four-floor podium and one basement level, with 839 apartments, 26 shophouses and 92 officetel units. Archetype Vietnam designed its architectural foundation. The concept went on to win two awards at the PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards 2025.
The First Chapter of Lavila Township
Arcadia at Lavila is part of a larger plan. Lavila Township is an integrated eco-township where nature, architecture and modern living coexist, inspired by the timeless elegance of French living. Arcadia is the first chapter of that vision, built upward. It sets the tone for how the rest of the township will look and feel.
Designing Around the Art de Vivre
As a French-founded design practice, we designed the architectural foundation for Arcadia at Lavila under the direction of Jean-François Chevance, our Group Director of Design. The starting point was the French idea of “Art de Vivre.” Its essence is elegance, refinement and balance.
From Concept to Everyday Living
The challenge was to make that idea part of residents’ daily lives, not just a theme. The architecture is contemporary, softened by Art Deco influences. Lines stay minimal and proportions stay harmonious, giving the towers a calm, refined presence on the skyline. Inside the development, the layout is planned to bring residents together. Everyday movement through shared spaces helps build a sense of community.
Recognised at the PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards 2025
The concept was recognised twice at the PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards 2025. It was named Best High-End Condominium Development in Ho Chi Minh City and Best Lifestyle Development. Together, the two awards recognise both the quality of the residences and the way of life the project offers.
