On June 19th, more than 120 guests gathered at the Residence of the French General Consulate in Shanghai to celebrate the 20 years of our Archetype China office.

Led by Samuel Derville, Managing Director of Archetype China, and warmly welcomed by Joan Valadou, Consul General of France in Shanghai, the event brought together clients, colleagues and long-time partners to reflect on two decades of collaboration and success.
Since entering the Chinese market in 2005, Archetype China has delivered more than 600 projects across commercial, real estate, hospitality and industrial sectors.
Our early focus in China on the automotive industry soon expanded into the chemical and food & beverage fields, with major clients such as Henkel, Quechen, Mars, and Bel. Standout projects include the Mars Tianjin Pet Food Factory, completed in just 36 months with 1.8 million safe work hours. In aviation, Archetype China is currently delivering the 26,000-square-meter Guiyang Engine Plant for Safran.
On the real estate front, partnerships with Immochan and Galeries Lafayette have shaped iconic retail experiences across the country.
️One of our most distinctive achievements is the transformation of the former Everbright Convention Center into Puy du Fou Saga, a 24,000-square-meter immersive theatre that brings French performance art to life in Shanghai.
