Archetype Vietnam: Bel Vietnam Factory Groundbreaking.

On 15 January 2026, Archetype Vietnam attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the new Bel Vietnam Factory in Binh Duong, marking the start of a new phase for this food processing company.

As a major player in the cheese industry rooted in France, supplying renowned brands such as Babybel, The Laughing Cow, Boursin, and Port Salut, Bel is a long-standing client of archetype industry : we have partnered together on eight projects in China, Vietnam, and the Middle East, reflecting a trusted collaboration built on quality, expertise, and shared sustainability ambitions.

This development responds to strong regional demand, reflecting Bel’s conviction that sustainable growth is built on strong local roots, empowered teams, and long-term industrial capabilities. With this expansion, Vietnam is positioned as a key industrial and export hub for Bel in Asia.

Spanning 10,500 sqm, this new state-of-the-art factory is designed to enhance Bel’s production capabilities in Vietnam while meeting high standards of efficiency and sustainability. The project aims to achieve LOTUS green certification, reflecting a strong commitment to environmentally responsible design.

Archetype Vietnam is responsible for the full EPCm scope, including Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, as well as Green Consultancy Services.

Hosted by Mr Stephane DUPAYS, Executive Vice-President at Bel Group, as well as Jean-Christophe Coubat (高邦）, Sebastien Jambon, David Naidu and Martin BURSAK representing Bel Group in Asia.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from Archetype Vietnam, as well as representatives from the French institutions such as Mr Thibaut Giroux, Chairman of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV).
