Archetype Thailand: Introducing Ducati’s new factory in Rayong, Thailand.

Following the recent opening of Ducati‘s new production site in Thailand, let’s watch an inspiring video that introduces this project in detail and shares more about the collaboration between archetype industry and Ducati’s teams.

Our team at Archetype Thailand had the opportunity to speak with Alberto Strada, Managing Director of Ducati Thailand. He emphasises the plant’s production capacities, project-specific challenges, and the rationale behind building the factory in Thailand, which serves as the backbone of the APAC market.

archetype industry is proud to have collaborated with Ducati on this groundbreaking greenfield manufacturing facility. Covering an area of 96,000 square metres and designed for buildings of 30,000 square metres, the Rayong plant has been recognised with a LEED Gold certification, underscoring Ducati’s commitment to decarbonisation and climate neutrality.

Despite the tight timeline and budget constraints, our collaboration showcases our innovative design solutions and adaptive approach to client-induced changes. We achieved this through open communication and proactive issue management.

We provided expertise in full EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management), including architecture, engineering, cost management, project and construction management, as well as green design consulting.
