Francois Magnier, our President & Co-founder, has been featured in Nhip Cau Dau Tu, a leading business magazine in Vietnam.
As Francois shares in this interview what brought him to Vietnam in the first place, he looks back on the journey of building Archetype Group from when it all started to this day as an international construction consulting firm.
Importantly, François points out the critical role of regulations and investments in leveraging the transition towards sustainable construction in Vietnam.
“One effective way to make a building more environmentally friendly is by considering construction materials, technologies, and methods. For instance, a building can be designed in a way that provides more room for air circulation and cooling throughout the space, instead of installing high-powered air conditioners. Another practice is to design spaces that maximise natural light, thereby reducing energy consumption, rather than solely employing rooftop solar panels for electricity generation.” said Francois.
