Grand Opening: Pandora’s Vietnam Crafting Facility, the World’s Largest Fine Jewellery Crafting Site
On October 1, the Grand Opening and First Piece Celebration brought together Pandora’s CEO, Berta de Pablos-Barbier, who chaired the ceremony, and the Executive Leadership Team from Denmark, Lina Gandløse Hansen, Ambassador of Denmark to Vietnam & Laos, and representatives of the Vietnamese government and business community. Jean-François Chevance, Group Director of Design, represented Archetype Vietnam to mark the milestone.
About the Facility: One-Third of Pandora’s Global Production Capacity
Located in VSIP III, Ho Chi Minh City, the plant is designed to provide one-third of Pandora’s global production capacity. At full operation, it will create 7,000 local jobs and produce up to 60 million pieces a year.
From First Drawings to Opening Day: archetype industry’s Role
archetype industry’s work on the project began in 2022, with the first drawings. Two years later, in 2024, Pandora broke ground. The facility was handed over in 2025, and on opening day the first piece was crafted on site. We have followed 50,000 sqm of the plant from design to opening, delivering architecture, interior design, engineering, cost management, project and construction management, LEED consultancy and safety management.
Project Partners: Coteccons, ORGANO CORPORATION and BMB STEEL
Along with this, Coteccons led construction delivery, ORGANO CORPORATION handled the design and build of the wastewater and sewage treatment systems, and BMB STEEL took charge of the steel structure and the roof and wall cladding, all contributing to a facility that balances sustainability, quality and employee wellbeing.
LEED Gold Certification and Sustainability
With our LEED consultancy, the project achieved LEED Gold, one of the highest ratings under the world’s leading standard for sustainable buildings. Powered by 100% renewable electricity and crafting with 100% recycled silver and gold, underlining its position as a global sustainability leader.
